AISI 316 Stainless Steel vs. Machinable Glass-ceramic

AISI 316 stainless steel and machinable glass-ceramic belong to fundamentally different material chemistries. AISI 316 stainless steel is a metal, while machinable glass-ceramic is a ceramic material.
