AISI 316 Stainless Steel vs. C-820 Magnesia Ceramic

AISI 316 stainless steel and C-820 magnesia ceramic belong to fundamentally different material chemistries. AISI 316 stainless steel is a metal, while C-820 magnesia ceramic is a ceramic material.
