SAE-AISI 1010 Steel vs. Alkali-lime-silica Glass

SAE-AISI 1010 steel and alkali-lime-silica glass belong to fundamentally different material chemistries. SAE-AISI 1010 steel is a metal, while alkali-lime-silica glass is a ceramic material.
