Boron Carbide vs. CSM Rubber

Boron carbide and CSM rubber belong to fundamentally different material chemistries. Boron carbide is a ceramic material, while CSM rubber is polymeric. Therefore, their performance will be even more dissimilar than would be suggested by the difference in properties. There are 5 material properties with values for both materials. Properties with values for just one material (18, in this case) are not shown.

For each property being compared, the top bar is boron carbide and the bottom bar is CSM rubber.
