AWS E80C-Ni3 or E55C-Ni3 (W23030) Weld Metal

AWS E80C-Ni3 is a weld metal formulated for joining alloy steels. Cited properties are appropriate for the post-weld heat treated (PWHT) condition. E80C-Ni3 is the AWS designation for this material. W23030 is the UNS number.

It has a moderately high ductility among alloy steel welding fillers. In addition, it has a fairly high thermal conductivity and a moderately low electrical conductivity.

The graph bars on the material properties cards below compare AWS E80C-Ni3 to: alloy steel welding fillers (top), all iron alloys (middle), and the entire database (bottom). A full bar means this is the highest value in the relevant set. A half-full bar means it's 50% of the highest, and so on.
