ISO Solder Alloy 811 (IEC Z80B30, Sn89Zn8Bi3)

Solder alloy 811 is a tin-based soldering alloy. Cited properties are appropriate for the as-fabricated (no temper or treatment) condition. Z80B30 is the IEC 60672 type for this material. 811 is the ISO numeric designation. Older literature may refer to this material as S-Sn89Zn8Bi3, but this is now discouraged.

It has a moderately high heat capacity among the tin-based solder alloys in the database.

The graph bars on the material properties cards below compare solder alloy 811 to: tin-based solder alloys (top), all alloys in the same category (middle), and the entire database (bottom). A full bar means this is the highest value in the relevant set. A half-full bar means it's 50% of the highest, and so on.
