AWS E410NiMo (W41016) Weld Metal

AWS E410NiMo is a weld metal formulated for joining stainless steels. Cited properties are appropriate for the post-weld heat treated (PWHT) condition. E410NiMo is the AWS designation for this material. W41016 is the UNS number. Additionally, the ISO numeric designation is ES410NiMo.

It has a fairly high tensile strength among stainless steel welding fillers. In addition, it has a very low base cost and a very low embodied energy.

The graph bars on the material properties cards below compare AWS E410NiMo to: stainless steel welding fillers (top), all iron alloys (middle), and the entire database (bottom). A full bar means this is the highest value in the relevant set. A half-full bar means it's 50% of the highest, and so on.
