AWS E90C-B9 is a weld metal formulated for joining alloy steels. Cited properties are appropriate for the post-weld heat treated (PWHT) condition.

It has a very high base cost among alloy steel welding fillers. In addition, it has the lowest electrical conductivity and a very low thermal conductivity.
