AWS BVAg-18 (P07607) Vacuum Service Filler Metal

AWS BVAg-18 is a silver-based filler metal for brazing. Cited properties are appropriate for the as-fabricated (no temper or treatment) condition. BVAg-18 is the AWS designation for this material. P07607 is the UNS number.

It has a very low melting temperature and a moderately high tensile strength among silver-based braze fillers.
